2. How to Delete Your Account

Request Account Deletion

To delete your MedConfirm account and all associated data:

Send an email to medconfirm@mindsetlayer.com
Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
Include your registered email address in the message
We will process your request within 30 days

What Gets Deleted

✓ Your account credentials (email and password)
✓ Your profile information (name and settings)
✓ Your medication confirmation history (all timestamps)
✓ Family contact email address
✓ All notification preferences

Deletion Timeline

Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of receiving your request. This process is irreversible and cannot be undone.

Important: What We Do NOT Collect

MedConfirm does NOT collect, store, or have access to:

✗ Medical records or health information
✗ Medication names, dosages, or prescriptions
✗ Protected Health Information (PHI)
✗ Diagnosis or treatment information
✗ Insurance or payment card details
✗ Location tracking data

We are a simple reminder tool only. You do not enter any medical or medication information into our app.

3. Information We Collect

We collect only the absolute minimum information necessary to provide our service:

Account Information: Your name, email address, and password
Family Contact Email: Email address of your designated family contact (optional)
Confirmation Data: Timestamps when you confirm your medication (date/time only)
Reminder Preferences: Your chosen daily reminder time

We do NOT collect: Phone numbers, contact names, location data, browsing history, or any other personal information beyond what's listed above.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Send you daily medication reminders
Alert your designated contacts when confirmations are missed
Provide and improve our services
Process subscriptions and billing
Respond to support requests

We do NOT:

Sell your personal information
Share your data with third parties for marketing
Store medical or medication details

5. Email Communications

By using MedConfirm, you consent to receive:

Daily reminder notifications on your device
Email alerts sent to your designated family contact (if configured)

You confirm you have obtained permission from your family contact to receive these email alerts. You can modify or remove the family contact email anytime in settings.

6. Data Storage and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
Secure password storage
Regular security updates

While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You can request account deletion by emailing medconfirm@mindsetlayer.com, and your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

10. Children's Privacy

MedConfirm is intended for users ages 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at medconfirm@mindsetlayer.com and we will delete it immediately.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
